‘Tom Clancy's: The Division’ open beta access from Feb. 18 – 21, Xbox One to get first

‘Tom Clancy's: The Division’ open beta access will be available on all platforms from Feb. 18 – 21.

Living up to its commitment, Ubisoft offered an exclusive access to a closed beta for "Tom Clancy's: The Division" for Xbox One gamers even before gamers on PC and PlayStation 4 could gain access to it. Although it was scheduled that the access to Xbox One gamers would last for four days, eventually it was granted just for 24 hours.

However, there is some good news for those who missed out on the opportunity to participate in the closed beta. Now, they will get access to the open beta next week - precisely speaking, on Feb. 18. In a blog post, Ubisoft announced that the open beta will be available for Xbox and PlayStation4 owners, in addition to PC players.

Gamers can access "Tom Clancy's: The Division" open beta from Feb. 18 thru Feb. 21 and everyone will be play the game for free and with no restrictions whatsoever during this period. The schedule for the open beta access for different platforms is given below:

  • Xbox One owners can access the open beta first on Feb. 18.
  • PlayStation 4 and PC players will get access a day later, on Feb. 19.
  • Access to the open beta will run continue till end of the day on Feb. 21.

Ubisoft announced that access to "Tom Clancy's: The Division" open beta is an opportunity for gamers of all platforms to experience the online open world third-person shooter role-playing video game (RPG) with survival elements before it is launched officially on March 8.

In addition to the content already watched by Xbox One owners in the closed beta, the upcoming new open beta of the game will have a completely new story mission allowing players to explore ways and means to regain hold on New York.

The French video game developer and publisher released a new trailer for "Tom Clancy's: The Division," which focuses on the different enemy factions in upcoming game, IGN reported. The trailer shows that the rioters are at large in the fallen New York City. It also mentions about the Rikers, who runaway detainees at Rikers Jail.

On the other hand, the Cleaners are shown keen to save the city and they want to burn everything. In addition, the clip gives a glimpse of the combative Last Man Battalion, giving rise to hopes that eventually he would be able to save The Division.
