New "One Punch Man" season 2 details will likely feature the "Hero Hunt" arc as the series plot details and rumors that the show will have more than 12 episodes.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the plot details for "One Punch Man" season 2 as it will likely focus on the "Hero Hunt" arc from the manga series. The "Hero Hunt" arc will focus on a new villain, Garou as he plans on fighting every hero employed in the Heros Association, The BitBag reported.
Garou was first mentioned in "One Punch Man" season 1 as a former pupil of S-Class hero Silver Fang and was forced to be excommunicated due to Garou beating up everyone in his dojo just to prove he is the strongest. Silver Fang taught him his martial arts style called "Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist" in other to be a hero and not root on villains.
In anime manga, Garou has acquired many techniques besides his master's and when he saw Saitama, he immediately disliked him and declared that he is his archenemy.
In other news, "One Punch Man" season 2 could have more than 12 episodes during its production.
According to When-Will, the reason why season 2 could contain more than 12 episodes is due to the "One Punch Man" manga series having nine volumes and it looks like the series will not end so soon. Thus, Madhouse could have more materials they can use for "One Punch Man" season 2 or the next season of the show.
Series creator Yusuke Murata announce that "One Punch Man" season 2 will be in the works and promised anime fans that he will be work harder in other to meet their expectations.
Several rumors claim that "One Punch Man" season 2 could premier on December, but in order to do so Murata and his team will have double up their work schedule as creating a new season will take atleast 6-9 months or 1-2 years to finish the anime series.
For now, Madhouse will launching a new OVA for "One Punch Man" anime series titled, ""The Ninja Who is Too Complicated".
The OVA will focus on Speed-o'-Sonic's training in the mountains in order to beat Saitama, after his humiliating lose to him. The OVA will be included in the volume 3 set of "One Punch Man" and will launch on Feb. 24.
