Musician couple Mandy Moore, 30, and Ryan Adams, 40, are up for a divorce after more than five years of marriage.

Moore has filed for divorce from Adams citing irreconcilable differences and asking for spousal support from him only a few months after she provided backing vocals for his latest album, Radar Online has learned.

The date of their separation was listed by Moore as to be determined.

After getting married in March 2009, Moore and Adams collaborated several times, such as their duet song "Empty Rooms" in 2011. Recently, Adams was also reported to be collaborating with Moore in a follow-up to her last album "Amanda Leigh," which was released in 2009.

In 2010, Moore voiced Rapunzel in "Tangled" with Zachary Levy as Flynn Rider, Donny Murphy as Mother Gothel, Ron Perlman as Stabbington Brother and "Transparent" actor Jeffrey Tambor as Big Nose Thug.

Signs of their marriage problems started to surface after Adams' interview with Australian radio show in September 2014.

"I just don't share at all about my personal life," Adams said about his marriage with Moore. "The deal is this I'm a private person and I'll be a gentleman and say I'm not talking about my marriage ever. I'll never talk about it. Ever."

While Adams was away New York for a guest appearance on "Late Late Night With Seth Meyers," Moore filed for divorce in Los Angeles.

While they never had any children, Moore and Adams raised what they call a "little zoo" with seven cats and two dogs.

With his backing band on the ACL stage, Adams' web-only performance of "Dirty Rain," the "Ashes & Fire" opener, will soon be brought exclusively by Rolling Stone.
