“19 Kids and Counting” star Jill Duggar is reportedly expecting her second child with husband Derick Dillard. The reality star was said to announce her pregnancy during the premiere of their new reality show on TLC.
When Jill posted a photo of her husband Derick painting her nails on Instagram, many fans pointed out that she shared a similar photo after revealing that she is pregnant with their first child, Israel David Dillard.
"Didn't Derick do that when u were expecting...very sweet.," a netizen wrote.
Some "19 Kids and Counting" fans, however, pointed out that the photo may just be nothing but a coincidence. They held that Derick was just acting sweet towards his wife and Jill wanted to share it on social media. They added that if she were pregnant, the couple would have announced it sooner.
While Jill and Derick may be taking inspiration from her parents, Bob and Michelle Duggar by potentially having a big family, the Inquisitr pointed out that their situation may be less than ideal as of the moment. The couple, together, with their son, have been doing missionary work in El Savador, Central America. It was noted that El Salvador has recently issued a two-year pregnancy ban due to the mosquito-borne Zika virus.
When Jill and Derick decided to take Israel with them, the outlet held that the couple received multiple criticisms from outsiders. The outlet held that some fans were surprised that Jill and Derick will be willing to risk the safety of their child.
Following pregnancy rumors, it was said that the Dillard family has returned to Arkansas because of the Zika virus. The outlet added that Hill and Derick have also started filming for the "19 Kids and Counting spin-off for TLC. While not much is known about the new reality show, insiders claim that it will focus on her older sister, Jana Duggar and her search for love.
Some fans also speculated that Jill will announce her pregnancy during the premiere, in order to help boost its rating.
"TLC is very slick when it comes to marketing, and this could be the perfect solution to get the views rolling in," the outlet held.
