"19 Kids and Counting" alum Anna Duggar is reportedly breaking the strict Duggar modesty rules by allowing her baby to wear pants. It was said that while her husband Josh Duggar is still in rehab, the reality star may just be doing away will all these rules.
Dillon King, husband of Anna's cousin, recently shared a photo of 4-month old baby Meredith on his Instagram page. He captioned it, "Isn't she so cute!!!!" The baby was wearing a green cardigan and jeans.
Reality fans have soon commented about Anna's decision to let her daughter wear pants. They pointed out that the female Duggars have always favored wearing dresses, in accordance with their strict religious beliefs, via Yahoo.
"Wow she is wearing pants!!!! Stunning noooo skirt/dress," a netizen wrote.
Some, however, came to the Duggar's defense and said that the parents should be allowed to dress their children in whatever they like. They also pointed out that people should not make a big deal of the baby wearing pants.
"Why does it matter how much skin a baby or little girl shows? Do you guys think babies and little girls are sexy? Do babies arouse Duggar men? That is super creepy," a follower wrote.
"Very cute! Let her wear jeans! Narrow minded people! You are doing a great job; you raise your child the way YOU want to raise YOUR child!" another added.
According to Starpulse, the Duggars are very strict when it comes to dressing their daughters. It was said that they are not allowed to show their shoulders or legs in public, even around their other family members.
