‘Star Wars Battlefront' update: To Feature Jakku, Weapon Balancing, DLC Integration, More!

"Star Wars: Battlefront" publisher Electronic Arts rolled out an update to the game.

Anticipated to get an update this month is the "Star Wars Battlefront," which will feature weapon balance alterations, downloadable content integration and more. This news comes before EA's official content reveal.

The advance reports arrive to Design&Trend through posts on the official "Star Wars Battlefront" forums. As a response, the developers of the game highlighted what's expected to come.

The complete integration of December's "Battle of Jakku" downloadable content is the main reason for improving its matchmaking. Previously, game types and maps related to that content existed within their own filter. This selection divided the matchmaking between DLC and full-game players, which led to broken lobby numbers.

Once the February update is ready, however, there can be a regular integration of Jakku. To obtain the free DLC, all gamers are obliged to download the game before they can start playing online.

That being said, the upcoming alterations will provide many seamless map rotations. As posted by Matt Everett, EA community manager, it unveils that targeting of the maligned A-Wing will be specified to an easy taking down of smaller ships. Bugs in trophy unlocks are being fixed as well.

For those unbothered by such doubts, February is anticipated to be the month of weapon balancing. Everett mentioned no specific guns, but he retained that EA's intention is to furnish a comprehensive weapon balancing in the future.

As with shooters, this isn't a new update for weapon balance concerns to be given top priority. In January's big patch, the overpowered Bowcaster and DL-44 were given important nerves to keep marches fair. This month's issues seem really not dazzling, however, which is why deep drive is relevant to see what's been altered.

There is no definite schedule yet for the February update, but details may be coming up really soon.

"Star Wars Battlefront" should work for your Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
