'Pokémon GO' is an augmented reality game for mobile phones developed by Niantic, released in 2016 for iOS and Android devices.

Apart from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the latest entry in the franchise was Pokémon X and Pokémon Y released in 2013. These 2013 games propelled the franchise to greater heights, and fans have been looking forwards to a new game in the series, Pokémon Z.

There have been increased rumors about the third game, Pokémon Z, which comes after Pokémon X and Y. While the released date for Pokémon Z is yet to be confirmed, if the game does not come out soon, fans expect the inclusion of some features. Gamers expect to see a new region coming to Pokémon Z as opposed to Kalos where Pokémon X and Z took place.

Earlier reports indicated that the development of Pokémon Z is still at its early stages, making it impossible for Game Freak to release it to the Nintendo gaming consoles anytime soon. A full-length feature on Pokémon Z was covered in the Japanese gaming magazine CoroCoro in the December 2015 issue, where it displayed all the five forms of Zygarde, a fusion of two legendary characters of Pokémon X and Y, according to Movie News Guide.

Kalos was a big region having many scenic areas to take pictures. The region came with updated cutting-edge graphics, which resulted in the establishment of highly immersive surroundings. Although the region is impressive, exploring it for the second or third time will be a bit tedious and monotonous.

However, in the event there will be no new region, fans expect to see an expansion of Kalos. Furthermore, there should be more Pokémon and evolutions.

Rumor mills have it that the upcoming Pokémon Z will sport new Pokémon of extraordinary fire/water type Volcanion and Zygarde, which will come in five forms. Fans will also be excited to see the introduction of some Mega-Evolutions.

Another great feature would be the incorporation of Smartphone accessibility. The upcoming should see developers introducing a feature that will allow gamers to organize their Pokémon via smartphones.

Meanwhile, fans can expect to see something new and fascinating with Pokémon GO, an increased reality game that works best on Smartphones. Pokémon GO will have its demo aired in March this year. The game will be available on iOS and android platforms.

Game developer Niantic has scheduled the Pokémon GO demo in the upcoming Game Developers Conference, which will happen in March 2016. CEO John Hanke of Niantic will give further details about Pokémon GO and its development to help would-be-trainers get into the outdoors, according to Gamespot.
