The Undertaker

The names of WCW legends Goldberg and Sting are surfacing as likely options if John Cena remains unavailable to face the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 on April 3rd.

According to WhatCulture, veteran pro wrestling writer Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio speculated that Vince McMahon may come up with a surprise prick incase Cena, the no.1 choice to wrestle the Undertaker (according to Jim Ross via PWTorch), is still sidelined with injuries.

The surprise Meltzer is talking about are the potential alternate opponents for the Phenom in what is widely believed his last hurrah at Wrestlemania - Goldberg and Sting.

The wrestling writer believes WWE brain trust will likely pick someone who has been inactive for quite some time. Sting apparently fits the requirement, having wrestled the last time against then reigning WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins at the Night of Champions last September.

Booking an Undertaker vs. Sting match at Wrestlemania would be a dream come true for WWE fans as they will finally have the chance to see the two wrestling icons duke it out in the squared circle.

Unfortunately, arranging this blockbuster match-up is a bit complicated due to Sting's prevailing health issue (cervical spinal stenosis).

Another possible opponent Meltzer is looking at is Bill Goldberg. Of course, the former WCE and WWE champion hasn't stepped in the WWE ring since his ugly split with the promotion in 2004.

However, Meltzer really believes McMahon would not hesitate shelling out some cash, and probably lowering his ego, in order to give the Undertaker a fitting farewell.

"You could do Bill Goldberg," Meltzer stated via WhatCulture. "It has got to be the right amount of money, he could do it, it would be something"
