Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin have been targeted by divorce rumors for the last year or so.
Throughout the season, Lowry and Marroquin bickered over just about everything, including her male friends. Luckily, however, by the end of the year, they had overcome their hardships, and remain dedicated to their marriage as filming on season seven continues.
On Feb. 18, following his deployment, Marroquin confirmed on Twitter that he and Lowry still had no plans to divorce by sharing a message, which said that marrying your best friend leads to a 70 percent in chances for divorce.
Along with his post, Marroquin tagged his wife, and told her he was a “lifer.”
After Lowry and Marroquin tied the knot and welcomed their first child together, they moved to Delaware, where he was stationed in the Air Force, and while she quickly made friends after enrolling in school, he had a harder time due to his job.
Also during “Teen Mom 2,” Lowry and the father of her oldest son, Jo Rivera, often butted heads because of his failure to step up as a father in the way Lowry hoped. Early on in the season, Rivera made the decision to move to Delaware so that he could be closer to his son, but once he arrived, that wasn’t what happened.
As Rivera and his girlfriend, Vee Torres, prepared to welcome a child of their own, a baby girl, Lowry complained that Rivera wasn’t helping her enough with Isaac, especially financially. However, according to Rivera, he wanted to first get on his feet before he committed to doing more.
With Marroquin currently deployed, Lowry is juggling her school, her reality career and her two chidren, Isaac and Lincoln, which has been understandably tough. Still, she's staying strong and able to communicate with Marroquin as he's stationed out of the country, and during an interview with Real Mr. Housewife, Lowry said she was staying busy.
Lowry and Marroquin return to MTV for "Teen Mom 2" Season 7 on March 21 at 10 p.m.
