Charlotte Hornets point guard Jeremy Lin recorded 10 points and 4 dimes in 24 minutes of action in Wednesday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-103 at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

As expected, Lin's production continue to take a hit with the arrival of shooting guard Courtney Lee, who played 29 minutes in a starting role. Although he's still getting significant playing time off the bench, it's obvious he's not comfortable with his off-guard role.

After dropping 24 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds in a victory against the Cavaliers on February 3, Lin hardly made an impact on the floor as the Cavaliers had an excellent job trapping him in the backcourt.

Starting point guard Kemba Walker led way for the Hornets with 20 points and 6 assist in 36 minutes per game. He's averaging 35.9 minutes per game, which is ranked 13th in the league.

Hornets head coach Steve Clifford admitted they faced a much better Cavaliers squad compared to the last time they met in Charlotte a couple of weeks ago.

"We knew they would give us everything they had because they didn't live up to their standards in their last game here. We couldn't guard them. They were very good," Clifford said of the Cavaliers (NBA.com), who remain on the top of the Eastern Conference standings with a 41-15 record.

The Hornets, meanwhile, saw their five-game winning streak snapped, but they maintained their hold of the no.8 spot in the Eastern Conference with a 29-27 slate.

The 26-year old Lin is averaging 11.9 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 25 minutes per contest.
