Former Girls’ Generation idol Jessica Jung to make Korean ENT comeback, launch solo album soon

K-pop star Jessica Jung will join Hong Kong actor William Chan Wai-ting in a romantic-comedy movie due in August.

Former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung might be having his Korean entertainment comeback pretty soon following report that she's one of the leading candidates to host KBS's 'Beauty Bible.'

According to Allkpop.com, a source close to situation reported that Jessica is already in advanced talk with KBS regarding a comeback show this spring, thought nothing is final yet.

"Jessica is a candidate for the new MC panel of 'Beauty Bible' but nothing has been confirmed. 'Beauty Bible' will kick off a new season this spring. We are currently in search of female celebrities to join the MC panel," AllKpop stated.

Jung hasn't been active in Korean entertainment scene since she left Girls' Generation in 2014. If the report holds any truth, then Jung might be ready to expand her market more than a year after launching his brand 'Blanc & Eclare.'

Last month, AllKpop also wrote a story on Jung's upcoming solo album. The buzz started to pick up following a promo by her company 'Blanc & Eclare.'

"To commemorate the opening of a pop store at the Incheon International Airport for the cosmetics line, the company is having a special event!  On the 'Blanc & Eclare' homepage, it was revealed that a purchase of over $250 worth of cosmetics at the store or $350 online could get a signed CD of her very first solo album.  You can follow the directions here," (H/t AllKpop).

There's no doubt that Jung has all the intention to become more than just a Korean pop idol with her ventures in fashion, music and entertainment. However, the question now is will the controversy created by her split with SNSD become a hindrance to her success? She alone can answer that.
