"The Vampire Diaries" alum Nina Dobrev may have just hinted on dating her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder once again.
According to multiple sources, Dobrev recently ended her seven-month relationship with Austin Stowell.
Although no concrete reason for the breakup was revealed, fans are speculating that it could have something to do with their busy schedules.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, another reason for the breakup may have something to do with the fact that Dobrev still has feelings for Somerhalder.
Meanwhile, Dobrev and Somerhalder broke up in 2013 after the latter reportedly started talking about getting married to the former.
A source previously said, "He was starting to talk marriage and she is just getting started on her career."
According to Inquisitr, "Nina Dobrev may finally be approaching the same place in life that Ian Somerhalder was at when they decided to split. Nina and Austin Stowell were so settled into their relationship that Nina regularly shared photos of Austin Stowell on Instagram, including a snapshot that shows her icing the aforementioned Christmas birthday cake for her former beau."
However, none of these claims have been confirmed by Dobrev, Somerhalder or Stowell.
It is also very important to note that Somerhalder is married to his wife Nikki Reed.
The couple is reportedly preparing to have children together.
In other news, "The Vampire Diaries" season 7 will air it crossover episode with "The Originals" on Friday night.
The episode will see Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) reuniting in New Orleans.
In "Moonlight in the Bayou," Klaus will also have an important conversation with his ex-girlfriend Caroline (Candice Accola-King).
According to executive producer Julie Plec, Stefan will feel awkward over the idea that Klaus might still not know that he is in a relationship with Caroline.
However, towards the end of the episode, Klaus will find out about the couple's relationship, and will be very accepting of it.
Additionally, "The Vampire Diaries" season 7, episode 14 will see Stefan searching for the vampire huntress Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff) before she could in danger anyone in Mystic Falls.
