The source also revealed that it was Dobrev who decided to end her relationship with Stowell after only seven months of dating each other.
Meanwhile, according to Inquisitr, thousands of fans are speculating the other reason that might have cause Dobrev and Stowell's split.
Some fans believe that it may have something to do with a third party, and this third party could be the "Gossip Girl" alum Crawford.
The publication revealed that Dobrev and Crawford were spotted arriving at the Villa Lounge bar in West Hollywood. A few hours later, the rumored couple was also spotted at the Bootsy Bellows night club.
On the contrary, there are also some fans who believe that Dobrev and Crawford are nothing more than friends.
The two have actually been hanging out every now and then because Dobrev is good friends with Crawford's sister Candice.
In other news, "The Vampire Diaries" previously said goodbye to Dobrev after being on the show for six seasons.
After her exit from the hit The CW series, Dobrev spoke with The Hollywood Reporter to share what she felt when she decided to finally leave the show.
"It wouldn't have hit me if it didn't come out the way that it had. It leaked a little earlier than we anticipated, which forced us to make a statement prematurely. But it was a blessing in disguise, in retrospect. It didn't hit me; I got to say goodbye with my family and with the fans. People made videos of - what was in their opinion - the best moments of the last six years. It helped me relive that last six years, and be nostalgic, and grateful and look back at those moments and celebrate this experience as it ends," she said.
