Struggling team Manchester United (11-7-8, 41 points) and contending squad Arsenal FC (15-5-6, 51 points) are set to meet each other in a highly-anticipated match at the Old Trafford this Sunday, Feb. 28th as the 2015-2016 Premier League season moves forward.

The two teams have not had the best records in both of their past six matches as United went winless in four of their last six while Arsenal went through the same as they settled at the no. 5 and no. 3 spots respectively in the English top flight's overall standings.

United had been a disappointment all throughout the season so far, which led to rumors that Louis van Gaal will be replaced by sacked Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho in the summer.

The Red Devils most recent match in the domestic league ended in an embarrassing 1-2 loss to bottom-three squad Sunderland AFC at the Stadium of Light on Feb. 13th, as per SkySports.

Sunderland midfielder Wahbi Khazri opened the scoring right at the third minute of the match to rattle van Gaal's boys early in the game.

Striker Anthony Martial managed to equalize the game at the 39th minute from an almost impossible angle off a rebound from a shot by teammate Juan Mata.

However, goalkeeper David De Gea's own goal at the 82nd, off a powerful header by the Black Cats' Lamine Koné, buried United's hopes of garnering a point in the contest

Meanwhile, Arsenal did well against league-leading Leicester City, pulling off a come-from-behind 2-1 win at the Emirates Stadium on Feb. 14th, via BBC Sport.

Foxes forward Jamie Vardy scored the opener at exactly the 45th minute via a penalty kick to give his team the 1-0 lead at the break.

Two goals from the Gunners in the second half, courtesy of strikers Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck at the 70th and 90th+5 minutes, saved the day for Arsene Wenger's squad after Leicester went a man down following Danny Simpson's sending off at the 54th.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 win for Arsenal. The Red Devils will continue to struggle to find its form especially in the offensive, though they will make it a hard-fought match for the Gunners.

Manchester United starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): De Gea; Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Borthwick-Jackson; Schneiderlin, Carrick; Lingard, Mata, Martial; Rooney

Arsenal starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Cech; Bellerín, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Ramsey; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Özil, Sanchez; Giroud
