“GTA 6” is Rockstar Games' rumored sequel to GTA 5 that will likely be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Rockstar's next game, "GTA 6," might have a new setting, and rumors have it that the new location could be Tokyo or London. Furthermore, the release of the installment may be delayed until 2019 or later since the developer company wants to ensure that the game is released on gaming consoles that support 4K resolution.

According to Neurogadget, the United States was the best location for "GTA," although Rockstar is considering bringing a new location like London or Tokyo. The upcoming consoles, PS5 and Xbox Two, will support 4K visual, and therefore, Rockstar will wait until the consoles are released so that it can launch its upcoming game on the latest technology.

The game may also be delayed since Leslie Benzies, the lead developer of the famous Grand Theft Auto series left the company, and his position will not be replaced that easily. It is difficult to find someone to do a good job without prior training.

"GTA 5" was launched in 2013 shortly before Benzies left for a short vacation. At the beginning of 2016, Rockstar announced that the video game producer had neglected his work in the past 17 months, and ultimately, Benzies decided never to return, leaving his position vacant. Perhaps, this could be the reason why Rockstar has not released many DLC updates for "GTA 5" since the game's launch.

Currently, the situation is complicated for the game developer company, because it should work on both bringing new updates for "GTA 5" and concentrate on the development of the next installment. A different report from the same publication had initially reported that "GTA 6" would feature a female protagonist. The report indicated that Eva Mendes would be the female lead character.

Furthermore, it seems like renowned actor Ryan Gosling, who featured in "Young Hercules" TV series, "The Notebook," and "The Ides of March," will voice the main character. Now, fans should wait for an official statement from Rockstar about the release of "GTA 6."
