'Necropolis' release update: Summer release for Xbox One, Mac, PC, PS4 strategy for better gameplay; Random loot are strong weapons

Necropolis is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Harebrained Schemes.

"Necropolis" game is scheduled to have a summer release for  Xbox One, Mac, the PC and PS4, instead of the initial plan of a March release. According to President Mitch Gitelman of Harebrained Schemes, doing the console release right gives an additional amount of work, in terms of development.

The decision to move the "Necropolis" release date was the right thing to do in order to use more time in making the game better for the PC and the console platforms, Gitelman said. Bandai Namco will be handling the console publishing tasks, while Harebrained Schemes will be self-publishing it on Steam.

While the in-game enemies are tough right from the beginning, the random loot can give the players the strong weapons that they can use to get going. The combats are all about non-stop movements and learning of the possible patterns. Some interactive switches are given as the game progresses, which can allow the players to keep the platforms at work to their advantage.

The "Necropolis" enemies do not always have allegiance as some of them will try to fight with others. With that said, the players should learn how to control them as a way of surviving the battles against the hordes of hostiles, Polygon reported.

The health of the player, on the other hand, can be supplemented by eating the food that can be found along the way. While there is fresh food, the rotten food can also bring poison to the player. Therefore, gamers will have to optimize their chances whenever they eat.

"Necropolis" is an action title set in an erratic generated network of undercover tunnels and rooms. It is going to feature several loot drops and perma-death, where the player goes back to the start once he dies. It has a four-player drop-in co-op, including an adorable yet moody art form. Lastly, the players are only provided with one life to fight and bring down the pack of monstrous beasts in the procedurally generated and always changing dungeons, Engadget reported.

"Necropolis" is a hardcore yet stylish combat game that should be included in every gamer's must watch video game list in 2016. The game's creator Harebrained Schemes is also the same studio that made "Shadowrun Returns" and "Mechwarrior."
