Samsung Galaxy S7 vs Apple iPhone 7: Buy now or wait? Will the Apple device be unhackable?

The tech giant Samsung has announced the Galaxy S7 smartphone. On the other hand, iPhone 7 is expected to release in September 2016. Now the question that comes to mind is whether you should purchase the Galaxy S7 or wait for the upcoming Apple device.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 sports a 5.1-inch Quad HD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The new smartphone comes with 577 ppi and features an Always On display feature. On the other hand, Apple iPhone 7 is expected to sport a 4-inch screen.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S7 has a 12-MP rear-facing camera and a 5-MP front-facing shooter. In addition, it features Dual Pixels, F1.7 aperture and Sony IMX260 sensor. These features enable users to capture better looking pictures in low light situations, even with moving subjects.

According to reports, iPhone 7 will come with optical zoom and a dual-camera configuration. Also, it will use two 12-MP Sony sensors, but they will feature different aperture sizes. One of these will feature a 2-3x optical zoom and the other will feature optical image stabilization.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy S7 has 4 GB RAM and comes with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone has a 3,000 mAh battery. What's more, the device has wireless charging.

Rumor has it that the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 will be equipped with a 3,100 mAh battery with wireless charging capabilities and A10 chip. There are speculations that the tech giant Apple will release a 256 GB model.

Furthermore, the Samsung device is IP68 compliance, CNET reported. It means that the smartphone is waterproof as well as dustproof.

Various reports suggest that the iPhone 7 will come with a feature known as Pixel Eyes. The feature will enable users to use the touchscreen of their device with wet fingers with no difficulty. Rumors are also doing the rounds that the iPhone 7 will be waterproof.

Meanwhile, according to a report from New York Times, Cupertino-based company is working on new security measures to make it difficult for security services and governments to break into devices.

At present, Apple is in the middle of a public feud with the government of United States over an order to unlock the phone used by one of the killers in San Bernardino terrorist attack.

Several reports indicate that the software company is working on strengthening the privacy measures of the iPhone.

At present, it is not clear how the company could implement tougher security. However, forthcoming smartphones, such as the iPhone 7, will benefit from stricter measures.

It appears that the security measures will come as part of an iOS update. In theory, it means that all iPhones that get updated to that iOS version will become unhackable.
