'Need For Speed' 2015 DLC update: Electronic Arts Announce 'Hot Rod', manual settings update this week; PC version system requirements revealed!

Need For Speed is an open world racing video game developed by Ghost Games and published by Electronic Arts for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

New "Need for Speed" 2015 details will feature new Hot Rod and manual settings DLC, as well as full system requirements for the PC version.

Electronic Arts announced that new a DLC update for "Need for Speed" 2015 will launch this week as the new content will feature Hot Rods, drag races, wrap editor improvements and many more. Two images of the Hot Rods are already posted by Ghost Games and these are the 1982 Hot Rod and The Aaron Beck ‘BeckKustoms F132.

Ghost Games stated that the 1982 Hot Rod will feature four unique body kits such as soft top, coupe, sedan, and pickup. The game studio added that both cars can be fully customize just like any car in "Need for Speed" from the hood, lights, grille, exhausts, and bumpers.

The new "Need for Speed" 2015 DLC will also feature five new "Drag Racing" events such as Neck to Neck, The Perfect Shifts, Drag the Town, Pedal to the Metal and Speed Tunnel. In addition, new warehouses are also included in the update, which allow players to store up to five cars.

The are also new Wrap Editor Improvements such as a system that allows gamers to position decals with a lot more accuracy. The information will be shown in the panel below the selected decal in the edit decal menu. Another is the Text Decals 2.0 and selectable fonts for gamers to write something on their cars, Gamespot reported.

Other improvements include animations in the Wrap Editor such as decal and Speed up info text animation. New achievement trophies such as "Drag Queen", "Wrap it up" and "Kustom Kar".

The "Living Game Update" will feature improved snapshot overview screen in the Need for Speed Network menu, improved snapshot pro mode, more campaigns for Rap/Cash and Discounts, gameply tweeks and stability fixes.

Manual Transmissions which originally for the PC version are now included into the console versions.

In other news, the PC requirements for "Need for Speed"2015 has been revealed as PC users will need the following system requirements to play the game.

Minimum Requirements for 720p 30fps at low settings are a 64-bit Windows 7 OS or an improved OS, an Intel Core i3-4130 processor or an equivalent of it with 4 hardware threads, 6GB RAM of memory, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB, AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB, or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 2GB of memory and a 30GB free space for the Hard drive.

The recommended requirements for 1080p 60fps at high settings inlcudes a 64-bit Windows 7 or a better version, an Intel Core i5-4690 processor or equivalent with 4 hardware threads, 8GB RAM of memory, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB, AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB, or equivalent DX11 compatible GPU with 4GB of memory and 30GB of hard drive space, IDigital Times reported.

The PC version of "Need for Speed" 2015 will be release on March 15, but gamers with Origin Access membership can play the game early at March 10, five days before its actually release.

"Need for Speed" 2015 is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
