Avid fans of the famous role-playing game "Final Fantasy" is anxiously waiting for the upcoming remake of "Final Fantasy 7." However, it appears that fans should lengthen their patience as the most anticipated "Final Fantasy VII" remake is scheduled to be released in 2018. On the other hand, "Final Fantasy IX" will also have its much awaited update this month.
Square Enix announced their intentions to make significant changes on the game play to make it better and more interesting. With these intended changes, it would take more time to finish all the changes to be applied on the game. It will not be a short and easy project to complete as Square Enix will certainly need long dedicated hours for the betterment of the game.
It is said that Square Enix aims to launch the "Final Fantasy VII" remake with a blast, and episodic release is what the Japanese video game publisher is striving to offer to its hungry fanatics. It was during the 2015 E3 event when Square Enix announced that they are working on releasing "Final Fantasy 7" Remake, but mentioned that it will not happen any time soon, as the "Final Fantasy 7" remake can be released more or less latter part, or possibly within, 2017 or first half of 2018 as projected, Cross Map reported.
It is said that one reason why "Final Fantasy 7" Remake caught the attention of other gamers and enthusiasts is that Square Enix plans to release the remake all year long. This announcement unsurprisingly dismayed gamers and it solicited negative reactions.
In other news, "Final Fantasy IX" version has made some latest addition to its game plan. Square Enix recently revealed that "Final Fantasy IX's" Alexandria will now be a new playable stage to "Dissidia Final Fantasy" arcade version this March. The stage's backdrop will eventually change as time goes by, and the latest stage addition will then become a battlefield for "Final Fantasy's" characters.
There will be a plaza setting with a ticket booth, as the focal point surrounded by several shops. Vivi, on the other hand, can now stay in "Final Fantasy IX" to play jump rope. The "Final Fantasy Dissidia" is already out in Japanese arcades, Gematsu reported.
