Director Hunt on for "Fast and Furious 8."

Speculations are rife that actress Charlize Theron may be the new villain in "Fast and Furious 8." On the other hand, it seems unlikely that Justin Bieber will replace Paul Walker in "FF8."

According to Deadline, "FF8" director F. Gary Gray is impressed by the performance of Theron in "Mad Max: Fury Road" and he wants her to join the cast as the female villain. Gray along with the movie's screenwriter Chris Morgan, are trying to add a new female villain in the movie and Theron is their top most choice.

In 2015, Theron played the role of Imperator Furiosa in "Mad Max: Fury Road" alongside Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult. She will also be starring in the upcoming adventure drama film "The Huntsman: Winter's War," where she is playing the role of Ravenna.

Meanwhile, the Ron Meyer, NBC Universal vice chairman has shot down rumors that Bieber is filling in the shoes of Walker. It is also believed that ex-model Cara Delevingne will be joining the cast of "Fast and Furious 8." She is also the ex-girlfriend of "Fast and Furious" regular Michelle Rodriguez. It is strongly rumoured that Rodriguez wanted Delevingne in the movie and recommended her name. Apart from Delevingne and Theron, Helen Mirren is also rumoured to be roped in to be a part of the movie.

However, it is not only new faces which will appear in the upcoming movie, it will host a set of new cars as well. According to Variety, supercars, trucks and huge military machinery were recently spotted arriving in Iceland, where the movie is being shot currently. Cars like Rally Fighters, Lamborghinis, along with Imprezas should be expected in the upcoming instalment of the movie franchise.

Vin Diesel had revealed earlier that the movie is being shot in New York. However, if the new leaked images are to be believed, Iceland will be hosting a major chunk of the filming as well. So, instead of huge cars zooming around Big Apple, fans can expect to see the cast racing their gorgeous vehicles on icy slopes.

"Fast and Furious 8" will premiere on April 15, 2017.
