Apple iPhone 7 is slated for a September release with a new design.

Rumors abound that Apple is secretly working on a mega iPhone 7 Pro with dual-camera lens support, which will have a bigger display screen seen till now.

According to Forbes, Apple is planning to introduce a newer model of iPhone 7, dubbed as the iPhone 7 Pro, which will have a screen size bigger than 5.5 inches. It will also be radically different from the other models as it will have a revolutionary camera with Linx created dual-lens system.

Meanwhile, all the patents which Apple filed last year clearly hint towards the fact that the iPhone 7 could come with many features which were not seen in its predecessors.

In other news, Apple recently filed a patent called the "Electronic Devices With Housing Port Shutters." It is reported that this patent is about shutters for speaker and the microphone ports, which will be designed to prevent intrusion of contaminants that can pollute the insides of the device. It is strongly rumoured that this feature will be introduced in the iPhone 7.

Meanwhile, it is also possible that the iPhone 7 will feature a wireless charger, according to BGR. It is reported that Apple recently entered into a partnership with a start-up company called Energous. This company is best known for its wireless charging chip known as the WattUp. This chip is capable of wirelessly charges devices from a distance of up to 15 feet away. If the iPhone 7 comes with this feature, it will be a total game changer for Apple.

Yet another patent is rumoured to be included in the upcoming device. It is reported that Apple filed a new patent which pitched for better antenna along with the use of zero plastic. This patent highlights the effect of materials like metal oxides on the body of the device, and explains how it allows radio frequencies to pass through it. This might mean that iPhone 7 is will come with a complete metal body.

Apple is yet to confirm the inclusion of any of the above mentioned patents, but it won't be a surprise, if they are seen in the device.

The iPhone 7 is expected to be released in September. This assumption is based on the fact that the Cupertino based tech giant generally launches its next generation devices in September every year. Even the iPhone 6S was released during this time last year. So, it is safe to assume that fans can expect the new smartphone to hit the market shelves in.
