New details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake will feature more mini-games, open-world maps, a 2017 launch date and a guest character in the game.
Square Enix director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase hinted that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will feature an open-world map within the game. However, both Kitase and Nomura are still discussing the idea for that kind of feature as Nomura is working on the "Final Fantasy 7' remake's scenery as they want to express an environment character that affects it.
Kitase added that there are more mini-games in "Final Fantasy 7" remake, but both Kitase and Nomura explained that as the feature itself will be limited and that Square Enix might consider the big and small things to add certain mini-games within the remake using the latest technology available. Kitase revealed that the development staff is still thinking on what to do with the mini-games, Gematsu reported.
The "Final Fantasy 7" remake will also feature fully voiced characters instead on the dialogue text conversation from the original game. Nomura added that although they planned to have each character fully voiced they still have not decided on the voices of every character that were not present in "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children".
There have been several rumors regarding the launch date for "Final Fantasy 7" remake as Square Enix plans to developed the game this year hinting a 2017 launch date schedule. The game itself is said to be episodic and possibly divided into four parts as each episode ends with a important scene from the original "Final Fantasy 7" video game.
In other new, "Final Fantasy 7" remake is rumored to have a guess character from other titles as Claire "Lightning" Farron from "Final Fantasy XIII" will be heading to make an impact in the remake.
Lightning was recently featured as a new virtual model for Louis Vuitton as she told Telegraph that she has several upcoming projects soon. Lightning explained that she will return in "a world of strife" very soon, but explained that she will be a new person.
With that statement, gaming fans speculated and theorized that Lightning will make a comeback to a "Final Fantasy" game and everyone hints that it could be "Final Fantasy 7" remake.
Lightning is the main protagonist of "Final Fantasy XIII" in the PlayStation 3 era and has starred in two of its sequels, "Final Fantasy XIII-2" and "Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII"
"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the beloved sequel.
