Chris Soules revealed that he almost did not take "The Bachelor" gig after Andi Dorfman broke her heart in "The Bachelorette" season 10. Prince Farming admitted that he was wary about finding love on reality TV again after he lost to Josh Murray.

In an interview with Oprah, on her "Where Are They Now?" segment, via Inquisitr, Soules shared that he did not know how his life will return to normal after starring on "The Bachelorette." The reality star added that he had no intentions of dating other people for some time, as he needed time to heal.

To his surprise, the ABC producers called Soules reportedly less than 24 hours after Dorfman sent him home to Iowa where "there are no women," to be the next Bachelor. Soules said that his first reaction was to turn down the opportunity, thinking that he was just not ready.

After thinking about it, Soules soon relented and decided to give the ABC franchise another chance. The reality star explained that he felt unworthy of the opportunity at first, to have 30 women fighting for his love and affection was definitely overwhelming and flattering at the same time.

In "The Bachelor" season 19 finale, Soules ended up giving the last rose and even proposing to Whitney Bischoff. Unfortunately, their relationship ended a couple of months after. Soules, however, said that he remained friends with Bischoff in spite of their failed engagement.

Sources claimed that the reason why Soules and Bischoff broke up was because of his "Dancing with the Stars" partner Witney Carson. Some claim that Soules and Carson got too close, which made Bischoff jealous. Others, on the other hand, pointed out that Soules got too caught up with fame and neglected Bischoff in the process.

Since the break up, Bischoff has since started dating and Carson recently got married. Soules, however, remained single. In the interview the former Bachelor admitted that there were times when he was thinking about giving up on finding the right partner.

"There are times I wonder if I'm meant to be single. But I'm hopeful I can eventually find that person," he said.
