"The Bachelor" 2016 Ben Higgins wanted to go the old fashion way this season 20. The reality star wanted to limit the "kissing and making out" this time around in order to get to know the contestants better.
Speaking to E! News, Higgins shared that he wanted to concentrate on getting to know the cast. He said that he had been talking to his family and friends and felt like it was best to hold off any physical contact until they get to know each other better. He shared that this has always been his plan since the beginning.
He, however, said that there would come a time where he gets to kiss some of them but insisted that it would only happen once they get to spend more time together. Higgins held that he did not want "The Bachelor" season 20 to be all about kissing or making out.
The outlet pointed out that Higgins' plan is a star contrast to Chris Soules who received multiple criticisms from kissing several women on the show.
When asked about the type of woman he is looking for in a partner, Higgins said that the most important thing is that they have similar faith. He admitted that he is definitely looking forward to finding someone whom he can share the rest of his life with.
"I think that'd be important as we raise a family, as we move forward in life. So faith is important to me," he said.
