A new Boruto Manga series will be available on Shonen Jump on a much earlier date than anticipated. Shonen Jump ramped up the hype surrounding the much-awaited manga series by including a notice about volume. 24 of the Konoha Hyakuyoubako edition of the manga, released last March 11th.
According to Viz, Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto is scheduled to release a one-shot manga featuring Boruto, the eldest son of previous series' protagonist Naruto Uzamaki and his wife Hinata Hyuga. After that, Shonen will publish a monthly manga of the same title.
Ukyo Kodashi, a renowned game designer and novelist, will pen the plot of the series while Kishimoto's assistant, Mikio Ikemoto, will serve as the manga illustrator. Of course, Kishimoto remains at the forefront of this very talented creative team.
"Then, Shonen Jump will carry a monthly manga written by game designer/novelist Ukyo Kodachi (A's Magic Square, adaptations of Macross Frontier and Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) and illustrated by Kishimoto assistant Mikio Ikemoto
Viz then confirmed that the special one-shot and new monthly series will run simultaneously in the English language version of Shonen Jump."
The Boruto manga series will go deeper into the story of Konoha's next generation shinobi, led by Boruto, Sarada Uchicha (the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura) and their mysteries friend Mitsuki (the son of the story's previous villain Orochimaru).

Boruto manga series will be released simultaneously with Kishimoto's one-shot manga in English edition of Shonen Jump this Spring.
