Rafael Nadal is 100 percent clean, free from any substance prohibited by tennis organization. This is what Spanish doctor Angel Ruiz Cotorro stressed in a recent interview in the wake of latest doping accusation against the Spanish netter.

According to Cotorro, he has the doctor of Nadal since he was 14 and he never found a trace of him using illegal substances to improve his stamina. Moreover, his team has properly controlled all the products he takes in, making sure not even one of them is tainted with illegal substance.

"I've known Rafa since I was 14 and the only thing I can say is that it controls all the products he takes. All products are certified that they are not banned substances. Everyone in Spanish sport is surprisingly quiet on this issue, but Rafa Nadal is a completely clean person," Cotorro said via World Tennis de Italia.

The 29-year old Nadal is once again facing doping allegation coming from the former French minister of health and sport Roselyne Bachelot, who claimed Nadal faked his seven-month injury layoff to cover up his suspension.

Nadal, 14-time Grand Slam winner, fired back at the former minister, insisting that he's a 'clean guy.' Nadal and his team also confirmed that they are preparing to sue Bachelot for her controversial comments without basis.

"A minister of France should be serious," he said in a press conference at Indian Wells. "This time is the time to go against her. We are going to sue her. This is going to be the last one, because I'm going to sue her. I am tired about these things. I let it go a few times in the past. Not any more."

Nadal advanced to the third round of the BNP Paribas Open following his three-set win over Gilles Muller of Luxemberg 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.
