Windows 10 Mobile update now rolling out to Lumia 435, 430, 638 1GB, 636 1GB, 635 1GB, 540, 535, 532, 830, 735, 730, 640XL and more

Windows 10 Mobile update is now rolling out to select Windows Phone 8.1 devices.

According to Windows Blog, the update is rolling out to Lumia 435, 430, 638 1GB, 636 1GB, 635 1GB, 540,  535, 532, 830, 735, 730, 640XL, 640, 930, 1520, MCJ Madosma Q501, BLU Win HD w510u and BLU Win HD LTE x150q.

Cortana, Windows Hello and Continuum are some of the new features in Windows 10 Mobile.

The tech giant Microsoft had previously said that the software update will be first rolled out to Windows 8.1-based devices before making it available to devices running on Windows 8.0.

Vodafone Italy disclosed that it would be rolling out the Windows 10 Mobile update to its subscribers' devices between March 7 to March 13, but that did not happen.

A Microsoft spokesperson said that Windows 10 is available on tablets and PCs now, and the Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 that shipped in November. The spokesperson further said that availability of Windows 10 on other mobile phones will start rolling out early this year and the complete list of upgradable devices will be available then.

Several reports suggested that Microsoft has targeted March as the launch date for Windows 10 Mobile.

Older devices that run Windows Phone 8.1 will require firmware updates to get Windows 10 Mobile. Windows 10 Mobile has also been available on phones, such as the Lumia  950 XL and Lumia 950.

Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, which was released in October last year, sports a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels, Digital Trends  reported.

The smartphone has a 3340mAh removable battery and runs Windows 10 Mobile. Microsoft Lumia 950 XL measures 151.90mm x 78.40mm x 8.10mm and weighs 165 grams.

The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset and it has 3GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Lumia 950 XL has 32GB of internal storage that users can expand to 200GB via a microSD card slot. The device sports a 20 MP primary camera on the back and a 5 MP front camera for selfies.

Some of the features of Microsoft Lumia 950 include a 20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front shooter, USB Type-C port, 3GB of RAM, Windows Hello, 5.2 inch display and 32 GB of internal storage.
