After the much hyped unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge at the 2016 Mobile World Congress, the South Korean tech titan is now prepping up to release its next Note device - Galaxy Note 6.
It is said that the successor of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be packed with remarkable features and will boast heavy upgrades, which will surely bring satisfaction to phablet geeks.
According to Australia Network News, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will be an improved version of Galaxy Note 5. The next Samsung flagship is rumored to have the same screen size just like Samsung Galaxy Note 5; however, the company plans to make the Note 6 more compact and sleeker than the previous models.
Meanwhile, contradicting reports are spreading that the Galaxy Note 6 will not follow Note 5 or Note 4 display specs, as it will feature either a 5.8-inch screen or 6.0-inch screen display. A bigger display screen would be needed for Galaxy Note 6 since experts believes that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note device will be launched as a tablet-laptop hybrid. An industry expert even reported that Samsung already filed a patent for a "Phablet Dock" to match the hybrid design of Galaxy Note 6.
Aside from its controversial screen size, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is reported to support 4K resolution, which will bring superb image viewing and video playback plus a top-notch gameplay experience. According to Android Central, Samsung Galaxy Note 6 supporting 4K resolution will likely happen, as the Korean-based tech titan has been pushing its Gear VR since 2015.
It is said that since Samsung really aims to make consumers buy their next-gen products, it really make sense if the company will deliver top-of-the-line hardware and features, including 4K resolution, to its Galaxy Note 6.
Other rumored features of Samsung Galaxy Note 6 includes 3D touchscreen, microSD support, 4000 mAh battery capacity and 6GB RAM for smoother switching of apps. The Galaxy Note 6 is also expected to come either with Qualcomm Snapdragon or an Exynos processor. It will also be available in three storage variations - 64/128/256GB.
Yibada already reported that Galaxy Note 6, which is rumored to be priced at $750 or $850, is expected to be announced on August, a month before Apple will unveil its iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
