In other news, its seems that new game features for "Tekken 7" will be added soon in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

Game designer Michael Murray stated that "Tekken 7" will likely feature more guest characters in its roster as Akuma from the "Street Fighter" franchise will be featured in "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" and will likely be a playable fighter in the console version. Originally, both Murray and Harada did not like the idea for having guest characters in the sequel at it will likely ruin the continuity of the "Tekken" franchise, but visual design manager Kousuke Waki explained that Akuma will have purpose within the sequel and not a "cheesy gimmick" seeing he is connected to Kazumi Mishima and the rest of the Mishima household.

So far, Akuma is the only guest character in the game as Bandai Namco teased that the idea for other characters crossing over "Tekken 7" is still open to them.

Bandai Namco also teased that they will bringing back the "Tekkn Bowl" game mode in "Tekken 7" along with a new Mishima based game mode, Segment Next reported. It is unknown what kind of game mode it is but it centered on the Mishima family as there have been reports of a new "Scenario Campagin" mode for sequel. Perhaps, Bandai Namco is implementing the Mishima family storyline as the bases for the new "Scenario Campaign".

The sequel will feature a returning characters such as Jin, Kazuya, Heihachi, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Asuka, Lili, Xiaoyu, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, King, Yoshimitsu, Bryan Fury, Feng Wei, Dragunov, Leo, Lars, Alisa and Nina Williams, along with new faces Claudio Serafino, Katarina Alves, Lucky Chloe, Josie Rizal, Jack-7, Gigas, Shaheen, Akuma and Kazumi Mishima.
