New details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature new character list, monster and possible game release date for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
Square Enix upcoming "Final Fantasy" sequel will feature new characters for the game as the IMDB revealed the names of the new characters and voice over cast for "Final Fantasy XV", Gameranx reported. The cast members include famed "Resident Evil" voice actor D.C. Douglas who is known to play the game's major antagonist, Albert Wesker.
Douglas was rumored to play one of characters for "Final Fantasy XV" as the list revealed that he take on the voice of Weskham Armaugh. Other cast members and characters in the IMDB listing includes Alexa Kahn as Crowe, Emily Roya O'Brien as Y'Shtola and Greg Berg will voicing three characters: Gregory, an elegant gentelman and an impudent tourist.
In an interesting note, the character Y'Shtola is first mentioned in "Final Fantasy XIV" and is generally used as a mascot within the game and an indicator of crossovers for other video game titles, thus hinting that the character could crossing over from "FFXIV" to "FFXV".
Aside from the character and cast listing, Square Enix featured a new type of monster for "Final Fantasy XV" during the game's development. The official blog page for Square Enix Europe featured the look, texture and creation for the new monster as its head resembles that of a crocodile.
The development team took several weeks to render just one model and it took two weeks just to render the black and white model before even coloring it. They also talked about how to plan and animate its movements for "Final Fantasy XV" and after, the development team will have some small tweaks on the model.
In other news, there are rumors making rounds that several individuals claim that Square Enix plans on launching "Final Fantasy XV" on September for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Gematsu stated that that although the sources in the matter are reliable, the sensitivity of the information could be subject to change by Square Enix as anything could happen since the company has not made it public, thus rendering it as a speculation or rumor.
Square Enix will have the upcoming "Final Fantasy XV: Uncovered" event on March 30 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California with new game details and an official release date for the game. There are also rumors that "Final Fantasy XV" could be available in the PC and Nintendo's new console, Nintendo NX.
"Final Fantasy XV" will be release sometime this year for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
