It is official that Disney's hit animated movie "Frozen 2" slated for a 2018 release is going to commence production.
Disney announced that there will be more of the Arendelle sisters - Ana and Elsa - in the near future, and now fans are clamoring for any news concerning the film. One of the lead characters in the film, Kristen Bell, unveiled in an interview with Hit Fix that she and the voice cast members of "Frozen" will return to the booth to begin bringing characters back to life in their new adventures from next month.
When asked about the delayed production, Bell pointed out that creators Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are trying to have the best story ever.
The 35-year-old actress said, "I think that's why it took them so long to even announce we were doing a 'Frozen 2' because they were genuinely waiting for the story they needed to tell. They weren't just trying to pump something out - sincerely. They wanted something that was meaningful, and I think they found it."
In a different interview with E! News, Bell dished more on the sequel revealing that she has some clues on what could likely go down in "Frozen 2." The film's storyline is arguably as significant as its critically acclaimed soundtrack, which includes Idina Menzel's global hit "Let It Go." Although follow-up projects aim to surpass their precursors, the actress is sure that no new songs should surpass the success that Menzel's song amassed.
Bell added, "Nothing should top that. Even when I hear it, hearing it as many times, as I have, every time I hear it, it gives me the tingles. It's a brilliantly written song and it's so perfectly suited for her."
However, the actress was quick to add that she is certain that there will be many good songs in the upcoming sequel. There is no specific date for the release date of "Frozen 2," but the sequel is slated to hit the theaters in 2018.
