If reports are anything to go by, LG V10 is now receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Here is the Android 6.0 M release update for LG G4 Stylo, G Flex 2, LG G3 and LG G4.

Users of the LG V10 on Verizon have started receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

The Android Marshmallow platform for the LG device updates the firmware to version VS99022A. The latest firmware features some of Android Marshmallow improvements such as an overhauled permissions section, Google Now on Tap and Doze Mode.

Also, according to reports, the mobile carrier Verizon will feature many carrier-specific apps and programs pre-installed in their Android M version.

LG V10 users with Verizon should make sure that the batteries are 50% charged and has enough storage available for the download because a switch to Android 6.0 M is considered a major update. Also, users are advised to use WiFi connection rather than data when installing or downloading the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for a more stable internet connectivity.

LG V10 was released in October last year. It features a 5.7-inch screen that supports a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, according to Digital Trends.

Other features of the LG smartphone include a 3000mAh removable battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Various reports suggest that the mobile carrier AT&T has rolled out the upgrade to the LG G4, and it is expected that other carriers such as Verizon, US Cellular, T-Mobile and Sprint should be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update soon. According  to some reports, the upgrade has already come to Verizon.

Verizon has also rolled out the update to LG G3. However, carriers like US Cellular, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T have not announced when they will roll out the update.  According to reports, the Canadian carrier Telus will get the Android 6.0 M update on March 29.

There is no information on when the LG G2 will receive the Android 6.0 M update. The LG G4 Stylo and the  the G Flex 2 are other devices that are expected to get the latest Marshmallow update.
