The much anticipated "Red Dead Redemption 2" has been making waves since 2015; however, the multinational game developer and publisher Rockstar has not given any firm details about the game's release. Although no updates yet was cascaded, Rockstar will reportedly give a sneak peek to the much awaited "Red Dead Redemption" sequel on the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo, which will be held on June 14 to June 16.
Some fans are positively waiting for Rockstar to announce "Red Dead Redemption's" next installment during E3, while some are skeptic because the New York-based game developer and publisher has never introduced AAA titles on E3 events before. If in case that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be unveiled during E3 2016, Rockstar will likely release the game to the public by 2017.
Meanwhile, an unnamed source of Cyberland claimed that "Read Dead Redemption 2" is expected to be out come October, as Rockstar's original plan was to shift to the development of "RDR2" after "Grand Theft Auto V." According to reports, "Red Dead Redemption 2's," also known as "Legends of the West," October release might go on, given that the game's developer will not experience any hiccups during the game's developmental phase.
Furthermore, since it has been previously reported that Take Two Interactive is already working on "Red Dead Redemption 2" for four years now, it would be safe to suggest that "RDR2" will see its much deserved release after all. Some fans may not believe that "Red Dead Redemption" sequel is currently on the works, but a recently leaked detail may be enough proof that the game is really being developed.
To back the rumors about "RDR2's" development, 3D artist Ruben Tavares' LiknedIn profile shows "Red Dead Redemption 2" on his work history. Tavares' profile states that he has worked for Rockstar Games for 10 years on titles like "Grand Theft Auto V," "Midnight Club: Los Angeles" and "Red Dead Redemption 2." Many fans who saw this were delighted; however, some thinks that this is not an official account due to all profile typos.

"Red Dead Redemption's" sequel is rumored to feature a much larger world and more than one playable character. "Red Dead Redemption" is also rumored to have an HD remake version that will be released by the end of this year. In addition, the original game may also make it to the backwards compatibility list.
