Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release date set August 2016 as Galaxy Note 4 now available for $319.99

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 release may happen earlier than usual and the device will come in July and not in the fall.

According to Samsung-centric website SamMobile, the Samsung's phablet will be launched soon and July seemed to be a reasonable release date for the device. In the past, Samsung has been revealing the Galaxy Note series a day before the IFA event in Berlin, Germany. However, this may not be the case this year.

According to reports, releasing the phablet in summer is better than launching it in the fall since there is less competition. Consumers anticipate the devices from Apple more than the devices from Android-based companies.

In addition, Android Origin reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 6 aims to salvage the company from slump it is currently experiencing. The Galaxy Note 5 is not as stellar as its predecessors. Compared to the previous generation, the Galaxy Note 5 packed little improvements.

Meanwhile, some of the rumored Samsung Galaxy Note 6 features are: 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display, 4 GB or 6GB RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, a 12 MP main camera and something that will be clad in a metal case. It will include an all-new Stylus Pen with possible changes to the overall design.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 6 could come out with the fingerprint security feature though that may change if the company opts to go with Qualcomm Sense ID.

The phablet will come with Android N operating system out-of-the-box making it the first Samsung device to run with the said software.

However, there is no official statement from the South Korean tech giant yet.
