Take That member Robbie Williams agrees to join former bandmates for 25th anniversary tour

Singer Robbie Williams will join former bandmates Take That for a reunion tour in 2017.

"Angel" singer Robbie Williams has agreed to join former Take That bandmates to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary. While it is unclear if the reunion will be permanent, it is believed he will be a part of the group's celebratory tour.

According to Daily Star, members of the estranged group are yet to sign any formal documents. However, Williams has confirmed that he will be a part of the tours in the United Kingdom.

"Robbie loves being with his former bandmates," a source close to Williams told the publication. The source added that while the "Rock DJ" has not decided on a full tour he will participate in the United Kingdowm tour if not Europe .

The pop group Take That hail from Manchester and came together in 1990. The current members include Gary Barlow, Mark Own and Howard Donald. The original members included Williams and singer Jason Orange who was the first member to leave.

Barlow has served as the group's lead vocalist and main songwriter.It is reported that the current three members, Barlow, Owan, and Donald will release a studio album this year.

The album will be the band's eighth one ahead of their anticipated tour in 2017.The source told the publication that the " Let Me Entertain You" singer has abandoned plans to tour and promote his own solo music owing to the reunion tour. Williams is reported to have agreed to block out time to get back on stage with the band.

 "Now Robbie's on board the rest of the band are turning their attention to Jason," the source told the British publication. It is reported that Williams is hoping band member Orange will complete the ensemble for the reunion.

Meanwhile, Williams' wife Ayda Field opened up about life with the singer at home. Field revealed that the singer makes her refer to him as the "national treasure," Yahoo News reported.

Williams met Fields while on a blind date 10-years ago. According to the report, Fields said she was unaware of how famous the singer was at the time. However, since then she has reportedly grown accustomed to his popularity and his nickname used when the couple are at home. The couple are parents to Charlton, 17 months and Teddy, three.
