The anime opening sequence of the "Terraformars Revenge" anime sequel has been revealed on March 30. There will be two anime sites that will stream the hit anime series.
Japanese heavy metal band Seikima II played the anime sequel's theme song for the video, which is "Koryotaru Shinsekai." An anime TV show titled "PLANET / THE HELL" will also have its second theme song performed by Seikima II, according to a post on Crunchyroll's official website.
EdgeLine tweeted pictures of Seikima II's His Excellency Demon Kakka and the voice actress of character Kanako Sanjo who is Chiaki Takahashi. Both were seen at the premiere of the sci-fi anime at EdgeLine in Tokyo, Japan.
When the anime TV show will air in Japan, Viz Media and Crunchyroll will stream the series for its members who are in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and on other affiliated countries, according to Anime News Network. Viz Media will have the rights to the anime, while Crunchyroll will get the streaming rights. On April 1, the show will premiere on Crunchyroll.
LIDEN Films will handle the animation of the series once again with TYO Animations, but Michio Fukuda will be the one directing it. Naruhisa Arakawa will also handle the series composition, so it means there will be some changes. Cagetzu Aizawa and Atsushi Ikariya will now handle the character designs.
The Annex 1 arc of the manga was the first 13 episodes of the anime series, which was aired last September 2014, and Crunchyroll streamed the series when it aired in Japan. The companion original video anime was based on the Bugs 2 arc and was put on disc, which was bundled with the 10th and 11th manga volumes of the series.
