"Pokemon Sun and Moon" first ever directed footage was aired on Sunday, April 3 during the "Gathering at the Pokemon House," a Japanese variety show. The first footage featured the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games as well as the discussions that the three head executives had regarding a few details about the game.
The "Pokemon" executives' lineup included the Battle Director Shigeki Morimoto, Series Director Junichi Masuda and Director Shigeru Ohmori of Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Here are a few of what the fans can expect following the footage release:
With "Pokemon Sun and Moon" first footage, the fans of the popular game can expect to receive some exciting news about the new gameplay features, the new game rules, a few additional pocket monsters, and even a number from those head-honchos.
Director Ohmori's participation in the said footage may likely mean that the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will possibly have some similarities with the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Game Rant reported. The same report also indicated that Ohmori made a significant contribution to the development of the game.
While there is still no additional information regarding the game's debut footage, there are some reports about other things that can be expected also. For one, the presence of director Ohmori may indicate that this footage will feature how the battles are going to be played out in this new generation of games. Also, the battles may be the same to what some fans have already seen in "Pokemon Y," "Pokemon X," and "Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire."
In addition, the fans may finally find the answers to some of their questions regarding the Pokemon-themed Nintendo Direct. With the recent announcement, there are enough hints to assume that these new games may include a tropical setting as well.
The fans may also expect to witness a new "Pokemon," which according to a previous report, will have an image of the dragon-type creature. This has already appeared on Reddit. However, the fans have expressed some doubts about its authenticity and instead hoped that they get a chance to see the legendary Pokemon.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" debut footage was aired on April 3, but the game will be released in this year's holiday season on Nintendo. Watch the gameplay video, below:
