Tesla Motors gains a lot of orders for its new Model 3 even before its recent unveiling. Tesla's chief executive Elon Musk said that the new car is the final step in the company's master plan.

The car company has said that their new car is priced at $35,000 each and it is meant to bring electric vehicle technology to the masses in affordable prices, The New York Times reported. The new electric cars which were reserved just before the unveiling will be coming its way to its buyers when production starts.

On March 31, a lot of fans praised the new Tesla Model 3 as it was revealed at the company's studio in Hawthorne, California. The new electric car was a sleek five-seat vehicle and also the new leading car model for Tesla Motors. Its company chief executive is very proud of their achievement.

The new electric car was only possible because of what the company did before, Musk said. Model 3 was born after the production of the company's first electric cars, the Model S, and Model X. He explained that any new technology needed some to have changes to gain a better version.

One of the concerns that the car company is facing is the competion. General Motors and Renault-Nissan are also starting their own lineups of electric cars. Musk is only worried that he might not be able to satisfy the demand for the company's new electric car.

A charge of $1,000 is included in each advance order for the upcoming electric car. In just within 24 hours, the car company gained more than $115 million, and the revenue they will get will be over $4 billion. During the event, a big screen that showed the online car reservations counter and continued to change past the 133,000 count.

The new Tesla car will be able to travel at least 215 miles on just a single charge and in just less than six seconds, it can go from zero to 60 miles per hour. The production of Model 3 will start in late 2017, according to a post on Tesla Motors' official blog.
