Xiaomi has just launched the Xiaomi Mi Fan festival on April 6, and among the deals that it will be offering include the Xiaomi Mi 5, Redmi Note 3, and a 20000 mAh Mi power bank. Held on Mi.com, the festival will also exclusively see the sale of other Xiaomi products.
According to Zee News India, the company's most vibrant deal in the festival is the Xiaomi Mi 5, which started selling at 11:00 am on the website. The device was priced at $375.172 and came with what mobile experts term as high-end specs.
The phone was launched earlier in February this year as a dual SIM handset. It is designed to accommodate two nano-SIMs altogether with connectivity options like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, 4G, 3G, FM, and GPS.
Mi 5 includes a 5.15-inch Full-HD display with 1080 × 1920 resolution, and notable embellishments like a fingerprint sensor, reversible USB-C charging port, a 16 MP rear camera with four-axis IOS, and a 4 MP front camera. The smartphone will also include the latest Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor.
As for the memory, Mi 5 packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is not expandable. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a 3000 mAh lightweight battery.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3's sales started at 2:00pm and the price ranged at around $150. The device is a 4G enabled dual SIM handset that comes with a 5.5-inch display. It runs on Android-based OS MIUI and also sports a fingerprint sensor like the Mi 5.
According to Financial Express, Redmi Note 3 is the first full-metal body device in the Xiaomi's Note series. The most noticeable specs are its massive 4050 mAh battery capacity and a reading mode to help the user from suffering eye fatigues.
It also houses other features like a 16 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera, a Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 processor, 2/3 GB of RAM, and 16/32 GB of internal storage. Users will also have an advantage of shooting selfies using the rear camera by the help of the fingerprint sensor shoot "Button."
Besides the two smartphones, the Xiaomi festival also featured the sale of the 20000 mAh Mi Powerbank, which began at 5:00 pm. The Xiaomi Company is also selling other accessories like the Mi In-Ear Headphones pro, which are priced at a range of $2 to $20.
Xiaomi customers, especially those in India, are advised to be on the lookout for more deals.
