"Sex Tape" star Cameron Diaz is married to Benji Madden.

After a whirlwind courtship and a super-secret wedding, Cameron Diaz finally seems ready to open up about the relationship with her husband Benji Madden.

The actress was present on Andy Cohen's show "Radio Andy" where she recalled the moment when she realized that Madden is actually the one for her.

"It was one of those things where everyone tells you, 'You just know when you know,'"  the actress told the host. "You just know when you know.' Like you're my husband."

Diaz admittedly got to know Madden through her close friend Nicole Richie, who is married to his twin brother Joel Madden. Despite being in the close circle, the actress hardly met Beji until she threw a barbeque party at her place and Joel asked her whether he could bring along his twin.

Diaz and Benji hit it off instantly and began dating. After a whirlwind romance of seven months and courtship of barely 17 days, they tied the knot during an intimate ceremony in their living room of the Beverly Hills home on Jan. 5, 2015. The wedding was attended by almost 100 people while Richie and Diaz's close friend Drew Barrymore served as bridesmaids.

"We got married in our living room in front of our friends," said the actress on the show. "Had a little party in our backyard on the tennis court."

Diaz,  who was on a press tour to promote her new book "Longevity," declared that now that she is happily married and realized what the real love actually is, everything else seems to "washes and slips away."

While Diaz seems to be basking in the glory of a blessed married life these days, her close friend and "Charlie's Angels" co-star recently ended her three-year marriage with art consultant husband Will Kopelman, People reported. The estranged couple are the parents of daughters, Olive, 3, and Frankie, 23 months.

Diaz served as a bridesmaid at Barrymore's 2012 nuptial and has since remained close friends with the couple. Talking about the former's divorce, the "There's Something About Marry" star revealed on "Sirius XM Show" that she is fully supporting her old pal and is constantly in touch with her.

Meanwhile, watch Diaz on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" talking about her new book:
