“Fifty Shades Darker” is set to hit the big screen on Feb. 10, 2017.

"Fifty Shades Darker" recently cast actor Hugh Dancy to play the role of Dr. John Flynn.

According to Vulture, the British actor will play the role of Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) psychiatrist so fans can expect multiple scenes between the two male characters.

In the books written by book author E.L. James, Dr. Flynn was described as a good looking and patient doctor who listens to everything that Christian has to say.

He also doesn't shy away from giving his patient advices on how to deal with his demons, as well as how to make his relationship with Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) work.

Also in the book, it was revealed that Dr. Flynn was actually residing in the UK, but he eventually moved to the United States where he's practicing his profession.

Meanwhile, James took some time off her busy schedule to welcome Dancy into the "Fifty Shades Darker" team.

On her Twitter account, James wrote, "Welcome to #TeamFifty Hugh Dancy."

Ahead of her announcement, James already hinted that the actor who has been tapped to play the role of Dr. Flynn will be announced within that day.

"Dr. Flyn..." she tweeted.

In other news, Design N Trend previously named different actors who may be fit to play the role of Dr. Flynn in "Fifty Shades Darker," but Dancy's name never came up.

Some of their choices included "Love Actually" star Colin Firth, "Sherlock Holmes" star Jude Law, Clive Owen, Michael Fassbender and "Thor" actor Tom Hiddleston.

Meanwhile, Dancy will join other new cast members, namely, Kim Basinger, Bella Heathcote and Eric Johnson.

Basinger plays the role of Mrs. Robinson or Christian's former BDSM mentor. Heathcote plays the role of Leila Williams or Christian's former submissive. Lastly, Johnson plays the role of Jack Hyde or Christian's nemesis.

The cast members are currently in Vancouver for the filming of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10, 2017.
