'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is an upcoming video game remake, developed and published by Square Enix, of the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

The latest update on the remake of "Final Fantasy VII" has just been unleashed. After several weeks of clamor on the future of the game, Square Enix has finally shed some light on the episodic structure of the upcoming remake.

In December 2015, Square Enix hyped the fans by revealing the first gameplay footage of the "Final Fantasy VII" remake. A few months later, fans were dismayed after the studio released a press statement, stating that the game would be divided into multiple parts that could be fully packed with content than as one complete title.

However, some solid fans did not take the news lightly and expressed their disappointment over the matter. Now, in the latest issue of Game Informer, the video game giant has clarified the episodic structure of the upcoming game.

Game producer Yoshinori Kitase sheds some light on the size, content and scope of each individual episode of the game. He revealed that the upcoming remake will be composed of multi-series full-scale game.

"It will essentially be a full scale of the game for each part of the multi-part series," Kitase told Game Informer's Joe Juba. "[So] if we're just looking at each of these parts, one part should be on par with the scale of one 'Final Fantasy XIII' game."

The game producer was keen to clarify that the remake will not be taking anything besides the general structure from "Final Fantasy XIII," stating that each part of the installment seemingly recounts the story from a different angle.

The "Final Fantasy VII" remake, on the other hand, already have a pre-existing story and that, it would not bode well if that is not incorporated in a multi-part arrangement. Previous reports noted that the thirteenth major installment in the game seemingly takes around 40 to 77 hours long before game players can get through the series, and 28 hours to beat its sequel," The Geek has learned.

As of press time, the remake series has not been given a release date window yet. Nonetheless, fans worldwide have something to look forward to, as "Final Fantasy XV" arrives on September 30.
