After the success of her film "Unbroken," Angelina Jolie spoke about ISIS and Islamic extremism.
After visiting a camp of refugees from ISIS as she was deployed as a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Middle East, Jolie shared her thoughts about the Iraqi citizens victimized by the conflict in Syria and spread of extremism, Western Journalism reported.
For Jolie, the international community needs to "step up and do more." As a parent, she said she could not imagine "a greater horror" after meeting mothers whose children have been kidnapped by ISIL.
In an article published in the New York Times, the mother of six criticized the international response to the ISIS pointing out that much more assistance is needed to help Syria's neighbors endure the untenable burden of millions of refugees considering the significantly underfunded humanitarian appeals of the United Nations.
In 2014, Jolie was compared to George Clooney's wife Mrs. Amal Clooney (nee Alamuddin), who chose to change her family name after getting married.
Although their children use Jolie-Pitt, the wife of "Fury" star Brad Pitt refuses to be called Mrs. Angelina Pitt.
Before dating her husband, Amal Clooney made a name for herself as the successful lawyer who represented former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
As a gift, Amal Clooney reportedly gave her husband Murano cocktail glasses, silk napkins and handcrafted napkin holders worth approximately $4,000.
"They didn't have time to go shopping in Venice, so she's ordered them in as a post-wedding gift for him," a source told E! News.
