Nintendo NX Release Date Nears as Purported Controller with Advanced Features Leaked Out?

Gaming fans remain hopeful that prior to its rumored Holiday 2016 release date, the Nintendo NX will be given a sneak peek, at least, via the E3 conference in June and as the date approaches torrents of rumors attempt to provide a picture of the device's final cut. The latest NX details that came out suggest of launch titles and high-end specs to unpack with the machine.

The belief that The Legend of Zelda game title, according to Nintendo Life, will be part of the NX launch is gaining further traction as known Nintendo watcher Emily Rogers, also known as @ArcadeGirl64, tweeted a claim that the popular Zelda character will have a new adventure come the NX unboxing. The plan, apparently, is for the new Zelda game to debut simultaneously on the Wii U and the NX. The latter is said to touchdown before 2016 ends.

Rogers, the same report said, was previously credited for providing solid forecasts on upcoming Nintendo product so the level of accuracy attached with her leaks are fairly high.

And the same can be said of Redditor luzzolsa23, who according to WCCF Tech has been monitoring the NX hardware development. The latest information indicates that the gaming device is a powerful Nintendo concoction that can handle many things gamers will throw its. This lines up with the earlier reports that the NX will not only match the power already seen with the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One - the NX will readily overwhelm the two.

The latest from luzzolsa23 also says that the Nintendo NX is built on x86 architecture that permits backward compatibility. The device is also jam-packed with advanced and smart features - users can connect a 4K monitor and interaction with compatible devices and applications is part of the NX blueprint. The same source echoed previous rumors that server back-up will be among the key services that the device will unpack.

Somehow, the Reddit list agrees with the circulating speculations that the Nintendo NX will rock a mighty CPU-GPU package with up to 8GB of RAM support. And the operating system that will run the show is Android-based, which points to possibility of expanded service coverage.

In terms of pricing, Pocket Lint is convinced that considering the impressive feature upgrades that will deploy with the Nintendo NX plus the extra functions it will deliver, the device will start at no less than $400. As mentioned, the release date is targeted around Christmas 2016 (the latest is early 2017) or some months after a likely E3 preview in June.
