Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users will have their second update of Android 6.0.1 this week.

Google's latest official operating system Android Marshmallow (6.0) was seen rolling out to different smartphones via numerous local and international carries, and now, reports suggest that we will be seeing Marshmallow's additional update to numerous smartphone line and brands.

According to SamMobile, while others are waiting for Android Marshmallow's first update, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users in South Korea will have their second update of Android 6.0.1 this week, whereas users in Europe, United States and Canada will soon follow. However, the said update will be carrier dependent.

Some of the carriers expected to rollout Android Marshmallow on Samsung Galaxy Note 5 next week includes T-Mobile USA, AT&T (US), and Telus, Bell, Rogers for Canada. Note 5's predecessor Galaxy Note 4, on the other hand, will not see the update in the U.S. just yet, as AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile USA has been mum about the rollout release for several weeks.

Aside from Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy S5 is expected to receive Android Marshmallow update sooner than later, as the former has already seen Wi-Fi certification upgrade to Android 6.0 while the latter is seen in a listing for Android 6.0's Wi-Fi testing, Slash Gear reported.

Meanwhile, aside from Samsung, LG and OnePlus will see some of their handsets upgraded to Android M next week.

T-Mobile's Product man Des Smith revealed that LG V10 users of T-Mobile will start receiving Android M next week. Verizon already rolled out the update in March, while AT&T has yet to release details on when they plan to start their Android M roll out to LG V10. With the Android Marshmallow update, LG V10 users will experience better battery performance, comprehensive app permissions, will have more control over notifications and will receive numerous fixes, just to name a few.

On the other hand, OnePlus confirmed that OnePlus One will start receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Cyanogen OS 13 today onwards. Some OnePlus One users have already confirmed receiving the update over-the-air (OTA), according to reports. It is said that the update will not roll out to all users, as Cyanogen OS 13 will first be available to some, while others need to wait.

Since Cyanogen OS 13 is based on Android Marshmallow, OnePlus users will have access to Doze Mode, Google Now on Tap, app permissions and more.
