“Bachelor in Paradise” 2016 cast will not include Chris Soules, contrary to early reports. “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” alum explained that he is more than happy living on his farm in Iowa, away from the spotlight.
Amid rumors claiming that Soules has been offered a spot in "Bachelor in Paradise" 2016, Prince Farming tweeted that his "true love for corn, soybeans and piggies" will have to come first. While some may think that his fans will be disappointed with the news, many of them actually believe that it will be good for Soules to lay low for a bit. They held that there he had been through too much drama being on "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."
"Sooo very happy to hear that. You have do much more class. No disrespect to anyone. I'm just sayin,'" a netizen wrote.
Some fans of Soules also wished him the best in finding love after his engagement with Whitney Bischoff fell through. Some also wondered why "The Bachelor" alum was still single, given his sweet personality and good looks.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Soules revealed that he and Bischoff stayed friends after breaking off their engagement. He added that they still talked regularly and there was no bad blood between them.
After going on "The Bachelor," Soules went on to do "Dancing with the Stars." Many thought that this was one of the reasons why his relationship with Bischoff did not work out. They pointed out that rather than spend time with his fiancé, he focused all of his energy practicing his routines with dance partner Witney Carson. There had also been rumors that Bischoff had been incessantly jealous of Carson and her closeness with Soules.
When "The Bachelor" season 20 ended, Ben Higgins was asked if he will be doing "Dancing with the Stars." The reality star, however, said that he would want to devote all his attention to fiancé Lauren Bushnell. He explained that turning it down is probably what is best for the relationship. The couple is expected to tie the knot by late 2016 or early 2017.
