“The Bachelor” 2015 star Chris Soules admitted that his break up with Whitney Bischoff hit him hard. Although it definitely seems like his ex-fiancé has moved on and has started dating someone new, Prince Farming is not ready to start a relationship with someone new, especially not with "The Bachelor" 2016 contestant Becca Tilley.
Speaking to People, Soules shared that he often wondered if he was meant to be single. He explained that while he has not given up on finding The One, his failed engagement with Bischoff really took a toll on him.
"When you go through a breakup, you get stung a little bit and you pull back. There are times I wonder if I'm meant to be single," he said.
Soules added that the remained optimistic that he will eventually find the one he is meant to be with. For the mean time, the reality star shared that he putting all his focus and attention on his career. He pointed out that he has neglected some of the important things in his life in his search for a partner.
Meanwhile, some "The Bachelor" fans were hoping that Soules and Becca Tilley will give each other a second chance. In the recent episode of season 20, Ben Higgins decided to send Tilley home, which she did not take well. She even accused him of leading her on. It seems like up until last episode, she was confident that she will get the final rose from Higgins.
"Even a second ago, I wasn't certain about this. I'm sorry," Higgins said.
Interestingly, Soules sent a tweet to Higgins that night.
Getting closer to the end. So much respect for you @benhiggi. I know you'll make the right decision I'm there for you in spirit.

After confirming that Higgins sent Tilley home in "The Bachelor" 2016, could Soules and Tilley pick up right where they left off? Unfortunately, Prince Farming said he would rather date someone who does not know who I am, adding that he has definitely moved on from the franchise.
"She's a great girl and I hope the best for her, but for me, that chapter in my life is closed," he explained.
"The Bachelor" 2016 airs Mondays on ABC.
