"The Man in the High Castle" season 2 may expand its setting and may cover more storylines.

It was December 2015 when Amazon finally renewed their most streamed series, "The Man in the High Castle," which is why fans of the show are now anticipating of what season 2 may contain. Reports hints that "The Man in the High Castle" season 2 may expand its setting and may cover more storylines.

Although details about the upcoming season are really rare, there are still numerous things that might feed the hungry fans. It was revealed by the show's creator, Frank Spotniz, upon his interview with Den of Geek that the second installment of the hit Amazon series has a chance to have a wider setting, which could be in the Pacific States or outside the Third Reich.

Spotniz added that they may also look into various storylines for "The Man in the High Castle" season 2. Given this information, it is highly possible that the next installment would likely rotate on the effect of the Axis powers all over the world.

Spotniz admitted that the making of "The Man in the High Castle" season 1 was incredibly difficult for him. The fact that the story is based from a Novel, it would be almost compulsory to add characters not present in the novel. Meaning, he had to make some changes in order to make the series appropriate for television. He also exposed the fact that he acquired the assistance of various historians and had researched about the East Germany and Nazi society in the making of "The Man in the High Castle" season 1.

Furthermore, it is not difficult to fall in love with the series, although it depicted the opposite outcome of World War II, which in the show it was the Axis powers who won the war.

According to Forbes, the series is an adapted version of the 1962 Novel of Philip K. Dick; however, there are characters and storylines in the show that were not in the Novel of PDK. The creator purposely did this to make the story fitted for TV viewers.

To sum it up, "The Man in the High Castle" season 2 is expected to air sometime this year, but no confirmation on the exact date yet.
