“GTA 6” is Rockstar Games' rumored sequel to GTA 5 that will likely be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

It won't be anytime soon until Rockstar unveils the newest installment, of their storied game franchise, "Grand Theft Auto." However, that does not stop fans from letting the company know what they want to see in "GTA 6."

With "GTA V" still scheduled to have more DLCs and added content in its online game mode, "GTA 6" release date will probably somewhere around 2018 to 2020, Neuro Gadget reported. Perhaps, it will coincide with the next-gen console, PS5 since Sony is already working on an improved version of the PS4 console, the PS4k.

Rumor has it that Rockstar is planning to bring in big names in the next installment by using them as voice actors for the next set of protagonists. Initially, Ryan Gosling's name was linked to play the lead role, but later on was debunked by Rockstar. Then, Eva Mendez' name was thrown into the mix but her camp has yet to address these rumors.

However, Rockstar stated that they are intrigued by the idea of having a female protagonist but that might be unlikely in the next installment, the report added. Nevertheless, the three-man team concept from "GTA V" might be carried over to the next game said, the gaming company.

Now, another aspect of the game franchise heavily discussed every time is the setting. Fans have seen the game take place in San Andreas, Los Santos and Vice City among others but this time, Rockstar might be going out of the United States and take the game in Asia.

One of the most popular choices being tossed around is Tokyo, Japan according to Gig Jets. The game, should take place in this country, will no doubt bring a whole new gaming experience to gamers due to its rich culture and unique infrastructures. But, that would also be the biggest hurdle Rockstar will have to overcome as they would need to acquire tremendous amount of licenses from Japanese brands to integrate the Japanese feel in the game.

Fortunately, nothing is set in stone yet as it was reported that Rockstar developers were thrilled with what they saw in Japan during a reference trip. Here is another fan theory on what might take place in "GTA 6" courtesy of user MrBossFTW.
