"Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 spoilers roundup

The episode titled "A Fully-Developed 'Time-Skip' Counterattack!? Is It Coming!? Goku's New Technique!" revolves around the final fight of the tournament between Champa's mightiest warrior vs. Beerus' Goku.

In the preview trailer for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39, Goku reveals that he tried look cool by announcing that he had beaten Time Skipping technique. However, when Hit showcases his true power, he finds out that he is stronger than he has imagined.

But, Goku has a trump card technique that he will unveil in the next "Dragon Ball Super" episode.

"Vegeta challenges Hit using Super Saiyan Blue but Hit's technique, 'Tokitobashi', deals a barrage of hits in his vital points and makes him faint. Son Goku is able to guess how Hit's "Tokitobashi" works and thus, while in Super Saiyan Blue state, he also challenges Hit.

Hit can only skip time for 0.1 seconds. Estimating past those 0.1 seconds, Goku defeated the "Tokitobashi". But, Hit continues to grow (stronger?) while in battle. So, Goku breaks the seal of the Kaiōken and shoots a Kamehame-Ha!" reads the description of "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39.

It is likely that Goku will be the final warrior from Universe 7 as Monaka might not live up to the hype. In episode 38, Whis tells them that Beerus lied about Monaka's powers and that he is a total amateur.

Beerus has hyped Monaka to motivate Goku and Vegeta to give their best shot in the tournament.

Can the new technique of Goku overpower Hit's Time Skipping technique?

Watch "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 on April 17, Sunday on Fuji TV at 9 a.m. Japan time.
